Custom Pet Sweater FAQ

Are there any limitations with the artwork?

Our artwork is currently limited to FOUR COLORS due to the make of our sweaters.
With more complicated designs, we sometimes need to change the image color or background color.
Our customer manager will work with you to find the perfect four colors that will best showcase your pet!
We will always let you review and approve the artwork before knitting.
Thank you for being mindful of our limitations as we do our best to create a premium knit pet sweater just for you!

 

Can I request more than two pets on a sweater?

It depends. We’ve helped many customers create artwork with more than two pets. However, due to our color limitations, we may need to see an image of your pet first. You can send us a photo via our online chat or email. We will then let you know if we can create the artwork.

 

What if my pet is something other than a dog or cat?

We can create artwork of all pets, such as lizards, rabbits, horses, turtles, chickens, fish, ducks, etc.

 

Can you knit a human portrait into a sweater?

Yes, we can. We’ve created many human portraits for our customers.

 

How many font options are there?

We have FOUR font styles to choose from. If you would like to use a different font, please specify at check out.

 

What is the return policy?

Each knit sweater is made-to-order, so we cannot offer any returns. If you have any quality issues, please contact wecare@knitwise.com or use our live chat feature.

Gift cards are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or trade-ins, and they may not be redeemed for cash value.

 

Can I change my order after placing it?

It depends on what kind of changes you want to make. If it’s about the product, such as size and background color, we can definitely change it for you. If it’s about the shipping address or receipt, we can make the change as long as the package has not shipped yet.

 

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order for free within four hours after placing it.
If you would like to cancel the order because you’re dissatisfied with the artwork, we will charge a $20.00 fee, then refund the rest.

 

How long will it take to receive my sweater?

Our products take 5-6 weeks to be created and delivered to you. We offer FREE international shipping. Should you wish to get your orders faster, we do offer an expedited service fee that will only cost $19.95 to have your orders delivered in 3 weeks! With this expedited option, we will bump up your order in the queue so our artists will prioritize creating your artwork and ship your order with the expedited shipping service. 
If you would like to know the status of your order, please ask our customer manager via e-mail, and they will happily provide you with an update! 
Note:
1. Delays in shipping may occur during peak shopping periods, such as during the holiday season, as couriers need to accommodate more deliveries.
2. We send all customers an artwork proof if you order our custom pet portrait products and ask for your approval before knitting. If there is an issue with your order (e.g. new pet photo is needed, artwork iterations), this understandably will extend your production time. So the faster you approve, the quicker we can ship!

 

What if I don’t like the colors listed on the website?

We only list the current eight colors on our website because they are the most popular. If you would like a different color, please feel free to let us know.

 

What is the size standard of your sweaters?

Our sweaters are a standard classic fit. They are neither too large nor too tight. If you prefer a looser fit, we suggest choosing one size larger.

 

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Japan, and China. Please keep in mind that your country might ask you to pay duties or taxes upon delivery. Handling these fees will be your responsibility.

 

Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?

At this time, we are unable to ship to APO/FPO addresses.

 

What if I forget to use my promo code?

If you can provide a valid discount code after purchase, we will issue a refund of the difference.

 

Can I change my sweater if it’s the wrong size?

Because each sweater is one-of-a-kind, we have provided a detailed size chart on the product page. Please read the size chart carefully before placing your order. Once you receive your product, we can’t change it for you. However, if the artwork is the same, we will only charge $78.00 to ship you a different size.

 

What type of photos should I provide?

For PORTRAIT artwork, you can send us ANY PHOTO as long as it clearly features your pet's face.
For FULL-BODY artwork, you can send us ANY PHOTO as long as it clearly features your pet's full body.
If your pet has any unique characteristics that the photo is unable to show, please feel free to leave a note in the "Special Notes" section.
